FPV AI Guidance Rocket Drone
The I2 DEFENDER is a hard-kill interceptor drone for the terminal layer of the anti-drone architecture. As autonomous AI drones bypass GPS and RF signals and fibre-optic drones resist radio jamming, electronic warfare alone is no longer sufficient. When those unjammable threats breach the soft-kill layer, the I2 DEFENDER is the last resort — physically destroying the target when jamming is no longer an option.

Engagement Sequence
Detect
Radar, RF direction finding and EO/IR sensors on the network hand a track to the command and control vehicle.
Classify
The track is identified and prioritised. Radio, autonomous and fibre-optic controlled drones are separated from cooperative air traffic.
Soft-kill
Jammers and GPS-denial modules are applied first. Threats that ignore electronic disruption are passed to the hard-kill layer.
Launch
The I2 DEFENDER launches from its vehicle plate and accelerates onto the intercept vector at up to 300 km/h.
Lock2Trace
Onboard AI locks the target and holds it through evasive manoeuvres using trajectory prediction and memory tracking, without an external cue.
Intercept
The interceptor closes on the target and defeats it by kinetic or explosive effect, clear of the protected area.
Deployment Configurations
Vehicle plate
Launch plate mounted inside a light protected vehicle for mobile escort and convoy protection.
Static site
Fixed launch positions around airfields, refineries, depots and other critical infrastructure.
ARES-SHIELD element
Four I2 DEFENDER interceptors networked with five NEMESIS fire units under a single command-and-control vehicle.
Training configuration
Inert airframes and simulation profiles for crew qualification and engagement rehearsal.
Supplies are made against valid end-user certification and, for exports, DGFT authorisation. Product imagery is an in-house Steadfast studio visualisation and is indicative only; configuration, finish and fitted effectors are supplied to the customer's specification and order.
